Lions distribute Christmas hampers
Another Christmas tradition got underway this morning with over one hundred Belizean families receiving food hampers from the Belize City Lion’s Club. The packages were delivered on the south side of Belize City with the Lake Independence area being the main distribution point. Each package consisted of assorted food items valued at twenty-five dollars. The Lion’s Club says the project would not be possible without the help of the community and many private donor organizations.
