Nine year old injured in traffic mishap
This morning a student of Holy Redeemer Primary escaped with minor injuries after he was hit by a vehicle near the junction of Faber’s Road Extension and Wood Pecker Street. According to reports, a Suzuki Vitara, driven at the time by Jason Lodge was traveling towards the highway when upon reaching the junction; he knocked down nine year old Hector Castellanos. Lodge says he did not see Castellanos, who was crossing the road in front of a bus. Castellanos received injuries to his left foot. Due to a pending statement from the minor, Lodge was served with a Notice of Intended Prosecution.
