Emory King named honorary film commissioner

In an effort to actively encourage film making in Belize the Prime Minister has appointed an honorary film commissioner. Emory King will be charged with promoting Belize as the ideal location for film production. King is no stranger to the movie business, however, as he has been instrumental in bringing films like, “The Dogs of War” in 1979 and “The Mosquito Coast” and “Caribe” in 1985 to Belize. King’s potential market will be film makers in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
