Paul Flowers, Public Relations Officer, D-Revelation
“The Payday tour started from Los Angeles in August. It has since moved from the north; it was in Corozal. We had a massive turn out there. Then, it was in Dangriga and it was powerful and exciting. It will now coincide with our annual Barefoot Music Festival. This is the seventh time we’re having it in Belize City. Saturday night at the Belize City Center the Payday tour hits Belize City.
The C.D. has eight months of work for the band. Really it puts together the five years of experience we’ve had in recorded music. The fact that it’s a CD we thought our music was at a certain quality but for some reason we did not get enough airplay. The CD itself has five different types of music. It has punta, scar, soca, reggae and ballads, music for everyone.
We just want to send a message that remember at the end of the day you will pay. Payday is talking about Judgement Day when everybody has to be accountable to God.”
The concert begins at seven Saturday night at the Belize City Centre.
