UCB to expand to full university
In its weekly cabinet briefing government today reported that there will soon be some changes in store for the University College of Belize. An inter-ministerial task force has been charged with the task of transforming UCB into a full-fledged University of Belize, with its main campus shifting to Belmopan. The task force will receive inputs from existing tertiary level institutions as well as the private sector, NGO community and the public at large. Task force coordinators are Dr. Alvaro Rosado and Steve Nemhard of U.C.B.
