Trio Remanded for Father’s Day Murder Appears in Court

A trio of men, including twenty-three-year-old Shemaud Nunez, eighteen-year-old Azzane Kaylon Domingo and twenty-one-year-old Damion Saldano appeared before the magistrates court for the first time after they were arraigned individually for the murder of Benjamin Hyde Senior on Father’s Day. In Courtroom Three, Nunez and Dominguez requested bail since they were only charged with conspiracy and not murder. They were informed that bail would not be granted to them at the magistrate’s court and that they must do so at the Supreme Court with the assistance of an attorney. On June nineteenth, Hyde was riding a bicycle on King’s Street en route to his daughter’s house and upon reaching the intersection with East Canal he was gunned down by someone who emerged from a nearby property. In court on Thursday, they were informed that the matter has been adjourned to October third, 2022.
