Still No Suspects in Murder of Chan Chen Fish Vendor

The lifeless body of fifty-year-old Sergio Jovannie Valdez was found near a dumpster in Chan Pine Ridge last Thursday.  A post mortem examination indicates that the fish vendor died as a result of a chop wound he received to the neck.  This morning, A.S.P. Yearwood told reporters that information to the police department has not been forthcoming in that investigation.

“Sergio Valdez, yes we conducted a post mortem on the body over the weekend, where his death has been ruled due to a spinal injury due to chop wounds.  We are still canvassing that area.  No witness has come forward to give us any information that could lead to the detention of any party responsible for this.  But as soon as we get an update I will send it out, no matter what hour it is.”
