Cayo woman wins Lotto
A rather overjoyed Tirsa Quiroz, a housewife and mother of eight children, walked into the offices of Tropical Gaming Company this afternoon, not only to get a hug from the big bird, but to claim her prize of thirty five thousand dollars. Quiroz, who speaks only Spanish, was accompanied to Belize City by her son Ismael Quiroz. Quiroz said she has been buying tickets since the game started and that she was home when the good news was announced over the airwaves.

It is not the first time Quiroz has struck it rich with the Tropical Gaming Company, as the lucky lady won five hundred dollars with Instant Lotto earlier this year.
