One Hundred Body Cams to be Donated to Police Department
The Belize Police Department is yet to deploy body cameras for officers in the field, despite a donation of a hundred devices by the Minister of Tourism and Diaspora Relations. Those cameras will be used to record arrests, as well as evidence from crime scenes. According to Commissioner of Police Chester Williams, cameras are also going to be installed along the John Smith Road in the weeks ahead.
