ACP Alden Dawson, Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch, B.P.D.
“A body did float up in the Hopkins area, the Hamanasi Resort area. Police have since retrieved the body from sea and there are no signs of any injury or no reason to believe there is foul play. Sometime during the course of today, a post-mortem will be conducted on that body and then from there we will know exactly if it was just a drowning or… Police also learnt that that male person is also a mental case.”
