Belize dropped by Panama in Venezuela games
In regional news — and we deliberately saved it for last — the dream finally ended for the Belize men’s basketball team in Venezuela. This evening they lost to Panama by a score of 98 to 76. They’ll still have a chance for bronze medal, however, as they play their final game tomorrow night against the loser of the game now being played between the Dominican Republic and Venezuela. Belize has already lost to both teams by a combined total of 5 points.
