Belmopan robbery is bogus, so called victims arrested

In crime news police in Belmopan have determined that two men who claimed they were robbed were in fact the robbers themselves. On Saturday night, twenty nine year old Guatemalan Obidio Gudiel, a watchman for Belize Western Energy in Belmopan, told police that four armed men held up his father, Feliciano Gudiel, and escaped with a bank deposit bag full of money. After their weekend investigation police concluded that the incident smelled like a setup. They found the bag, containing eight hundred and sixty dollars, at a house in Salvapan, and have detained the Gudiels pending charges of theft and committing a mischievous act.
