Youth Cadet tries to torch building’s bathroom
A resident of the Youth Cadet Corps is in big trouble, not only with his parents with but the law. According to reports from the Family Court, today the teen was arraigned on charges of Attempted Arson after he tried to set the building’s bathroom on fire. Around eleven-thirty on Friday the staff at compound located at mile twenty-one on the Western Highway was alerted that there was a fire inside the male restroom. The blaze, however, was put out before it could do much damage. The police and fire service were nonetheless called in and the boy detained and charged. Because the offense is indictable, no plea was taken. The minor was offered bail of three thousand dollars which was met and he is to reappear in court on April first.
