Placencia murder suspect captured in Honduras

There has been a major break in the murder of a tourist earlier this month on the Placencia Peninsula. According to sources News Five considers reliable, Norman “Butch” Martin, one of three suspects in the July fifth killing of Raymond Kirk at Singing Sands resort, has been apprehended by police in Honduras. A team of Belizean police officials is said to be on site to escort him back home. Other details are sketchy but there are reports that another suspect has also been captured and the third is being pursued. Kirk, a tourist from the state of Maryland, was shot to death in his beachfront cabana as he tried to protect his family from a robbery. The three killers escaped in a small skiff which was later found abandoned at Laughing Bird Caye.
