Philip “Faada” Henry Distributes Toys to Fellow Staff’s Children
‘Tis the season for giving and this week there was no shortage of gift giving over at the bus terminal on West Collet Canal. That’s where terminal warden, Philip “Faada” Henry was giving out toys and bottles of Crystal juice. He told us that he solicited the gifts from Bowen and Bowen and from relatives in the U.S. And he gave them out to the people he thought needed them most. And those who received the gifts were grateful.
Philip “Faada” Henry, Bus Terminal Warden
“I decided that this year I will go around in the different communities and do my role as a Santa Claus to give to all these little children that have been left out and didn’t receive a toy. For the week, I have issued out over a thousand, five hundred toys in different communities. So I saved the best for last and I chose to come over here to the terminal where I work as staff member here, and I’m giving toys to the staff members’ children. Most of them cannot afford to get toys so I decided to give them toys for their children so that they could use their salary to purchase their grocery.”
