Dickie Says Insufficient Proof of Nah’s Involvement in Ahmad Killing

According to Bradley, after poring over the documents, he was satisfied that there’s insufficient evidence to support the claim that a third person was ever inside the vehicle at the time of the incident. He told the media during a press briefing this afternoon that the extent of Elmer Nah’s involvement had to do with a pair of cell phone numbers that was registered to him. Even that could not confirm whether the threats that were being sent to Fareed Ahmad came from those numbers. Here’s how he explained it.

“There is nothing to indicate like there is a possibility that somebody else mih deh eena di backa dah vehicle… we saw somebody run into the bush, we heard… nothing.  People who were at home when they heard bang, dehn peep out and sih di vehicle.  Yoh know how cruffy, of all the tribes in the country, we are the most interfering and curious and we wahn run out deh right away, long as da noh rain, wi gwein, and nobody has said.  So I’m emphasizing the point that there is no indication to the investigators that there was a third person in the vehicle. The investigation revealed that yes, the two numbers are Mr. Nah’s numbers and he gave a statement which confirmed that he had changed one number until proven otherwise.”
