Malcolm Heusner to Stand Trial for Deadly Antelope Street Shooting
Twenty-one-year-old Malcolm Heusner will stand trial in the Supreme Court for the murder of Dorian Tzac, as well as the attempted murder of a fifteen-year-old minor. It is alleged that on January thirteenth, 2022, Heusner entered a home on Antelope Street Extension where Tzac and the minor were inside a bedroom. He reportedly opened fire on the pair, killing the twenty-five-year-old and severely injuring the teenager. Earlier today, Heusner also appeared before Chief Magistrate Sharon Fraser. At the conclusion of a preliminary inquiry, it was decided that Heusner must stand trial for murder, notwithstanding the fact that three other related charges had been dropped by the prosecution. The Chief Magistrate concluded that a prima facie case has been made against Heusner and he will be tried in the April session of the Supreme Court.
