Vivian Ramnarace

The family of Vivian Ramnarace broke its silence today. Deon Pascacio, a relative of the deceased woman, spoke with Plus News today where he gave further details into the injuries that she sustained and her battle to survive over the past two weeks. Pascasio confirmed that Vivian suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the neck and abdomen, all while shielding the child from the gunman. He says that throughout the last two weeks, Vivian vividly recalled the New Year’s Eve incident and all that transpired that night. The family’s hopes grew after she was sent home to recover. “Suddenly Sunday afternoon she began complain of numbness in her leg and swelling. A doctor friend advised her to take her to hospital for treatment and checkup. We made it to the hospital. He mother made it to the hospital with her, but right in the emergency room she collapsed. Immediately the doctors and nurses jumped into action and before the family knew it they had to be singing forms for intubation because she was actually couldn’t breathe on her own and her oxygen had fallen low so they needed to give her assistance. So, we did what we needed to do and they were able to bring her back to get a pulse. But, she suffered a second heart attack, and regardless of how hard they tried and they did try. We have to say thanks to the staff at the Western Regional Hospital. They tried their best and were very helpful to us even after. They couldn’t do anything else, allowing members of the family who haven’t shed a tear and continues to cry when we think about it. We can’t believe it is happening. Throughout this entire ordeal Vivian never lost her faculties. Vivian was very on top of things. Even the very night of the incident when everything she did, why she suffered the shots, everything she did to protect her child. And, in addition to that she said she actually told her mom that she felt like passing out one moment before help got there. But, she thought about her child and she fought to the point where she got up and so she really fought this thing through and from then on she did not have any kind of mental lap. She was on top of everything. So there was no question there that she knew everything and was conscious about everything and remembers everything and never lost that part of it.”
