Man Charged for Setting His Brother’s House on Fire
One man has been charged in connection with a fire in Santa Theresa Village, Toledo District. On the fourteen of January, police arrested and charged Miguel Bo for setting his relative’s house on fire. Reports are that Francisco Bo was inside his house with his children, when a fire broke. They escaped with injury, but police believe that they gathered enough evidence to charge Miguel for the crime of arson. ASP Fitzroy Yearwood explains.

“This person was officially charged after advice from the D.P.P. office, Miguel Bo, forty-two years, was charged for the crime of arson. This stems from a report from Francisco Bo, a forty-four-year-old farmer, where he is alleging that he was asleep with his two sons in their residence and they began shouting that the house was on fire. He is saying that when he got up, the east portion of the attached house was completely engulfed in flame. The value of that house, that thatch, is twelve thousand Belize dollars. We detained Miguel Bo and, like I said, he has since been charged.”
