Autopsy Certifies Cause of Death of Woman Who Fell to Her Death
We have been reporting about the mishap at Serenity Shores Resort in San Pedro that claimed the life of seventy-six-year-old Joy Quyle. The Belizean-American retiree was trying to use a goods winch located outside of the resort to reach from the fourth to the first floor, but the cable snapped and she fell to her death. Today, the police revealed that the post mortem examination certified that the cause of death was multiple organ failure due to – in layman’s terms – head injury and hemorrhaging of the lungs due to multiple trauma. The investigation is ongoing to determine whether criminal negligence was involved in Quyle’s death since the lift that she used was not an elevator that provides protection in the event the cable snapped, as what occurred in this case.
