Baby drowns in bucket
Another baby has died under tragic but all too familiar circumstances in Belize City. Police report that at around five Tuesday evening twenty four year old Ivoney Copius of Queen Charlotte Street was informed by her neighbor, Denise Underwood, that Ivoney’s son, fifteen month old Richard Gentle, had fallen into a bucket of water at Denise’s home. Despite attempts at CPR baby Richard was dead by the time he reached the hospital. Police are investigating the incident.
