Hit & run kills man on Western Highway
This weekend the Western Highway continued to uphold its reputation for traffic fatalities as a hit and run has left one man dead. Forty five year old Lincoln Hyde of Cotton Tree Village was pronounced dead on arrival at San Ignacio Hospital after he was knocked down sometime after midnight on Saturday morning near mile forty three. The car and driver that hit him have not yet been located and police are asking anyone with information on this incident to please come forward by calling the nearest police station.
