Ras Indio, Award Winning Artist
“My life for the last two years has not been a bed of roses, which is why a lot of people ask me, “You still sing? And I’m like “Of course! It’s my life.” But I had to take a little break. I had a son medically involved so I had to end up way in Virginia for a while, away from music and then I have a son who actually got killed and that also demoralized me for a while. And I’m slowly getting my vibes back to be able to release music. Soh Bed of Roses is basically explaining to people out there just like I had to explain to my own self. I had to heed my own messages many times. But it’s just telling us that we have things that come about in our lives; don’t let it put you down. Don’t let it ruin you. Stay strong, stay focused. And the chorus goes like this: singing … and stay focused, yeah.”
