Girl hit by car and killed in Unitedville accident

An eight-year-old girl suffered the same fate on Tuesday evening further up the same highway. Forty seven year old Otto Reimer of Spanish Lookout told police he was driving his pickup truck through Unitedville Village around four fifteen Tuesday evening, when one of two children on bicycles, rode across the highway in front of him. Before he could apply brakes, Reimer said he slammed into Aysha Elizabeth Madisson. The little girl sustained a broken neck and bruises to her body. Madisson was dead on arrival at the San Ignacio Hospital. So far no charges have been brought against Reimer.
