“Later this week, Thursday, we’ll be having a Special Cabinet Meeting to discuss the budget and finalize the budget – key areas in education that we’re focusing on is, is technical, vocational education and training we want to expand our free education program to Southern Belize, so that will require additional resources. And we have some special projects in Special Education and Early Childhood Education that we’re working on that require additional financing as well. And, of course we’re always trying to expand our support to students. Um, so we’re looking for additional resources to expand our financial assistance scholarship programs, both domestic program and try to provide increased opportunities for students to study abroad. Those are going to be the key priorities for us.”
