Highway accident kills motorcyclist
A traffic accident in the south on Thursday night has left one man dead. The accident happened between miles six and seven on the Stann Creek Valley Road near the Shibel Gas Station around ten forty five last night. It involved a car and a motor cycle. The police say that Sherane Jex, who lives at mile six and a half, was on her way home, when upon turning off the highway into the gas station, a motorcycle driven by Ruben Harris collided into the back of her vehicle. Harris was dead on arrival at the Dangriga Hospital. Jex meanwhile has been arrested and charged with manslaughter by negligence.
