Weekend Burglary At Belize City Magistrates Court

A small building used by the Prosecution Branch of the Belize Police Department, situated near the Belize City Magistrates Court, was burglarized over the weekend. According to police, the assailants forcefully entered the building which is now primarily being used to store office supplies.

“We have received a burglary report at the little house that is used by the prosecution office, outside of the magistrate court itself, more in the parking lot structure. We know that it was ransacked. As to whether anything is missing, at this time we would have to check inventory with Prosecution Branch and then we can ascertain what items if any was stolen during the weekend.”
