Governor General donates musical instruments
In news of a more upbeat nature Governor General Sir Colville Young was busy today pushing his pet project of making Belize more musically literate. This morning he presented an assortment of bugles, drums and cymbals to Holy Redeemer Upper School and then traveled across town to Queen’s Square Anglican where he made a similar donation. It is hoped that both schools will now establish marching bands.
