PM Briceño: No Tolerance for Gender-Based Violence

So what’s the future of Cal in the People’s United Party? As a party and government, the P.U.P. says it has absolutely no room for any form of domestic violence. Prime Minister John Briceño reiterated this in a brief statement to the media this morning.

“Our party was very clear and we answered very quickly, especially in Women’s Month, that we have zero tolerance for violence against women and that’s why we have asked him to resign as member of the Punta Gorda Town Council. We can’t force him, but we can do something from our part from within our party.”

“Well that’s another matter that we definitely would have to discuss, but as I said, we have zero policy when it comes to the issue of violence against women.”
