Inmate found dead at prison

A young inmate has been found dead at Hattieville Prison. The body of nineteen year old Mike Fabro was reportedly found at around six thirty this morning at the correctional facility, but details surrounding the death, including where and how the body was discovered, remain unclear. Prison authorities declined to answer questions, saying that the matter was under police investigation. Reports from those who saw the body indicate that it displayed extensive bruises to the neck and scratches around the chest. A post mortem is scheduled for Thursday afternoon. Fabro, of Belize City, was serving a three year sentence for possession of a sawed off shotgun. He was due to be released in September.
