Man Loses Life in Motorcycle Accident in Corozal
There was another traffic accident up north, this time in the Corozal District. It involved a motorcycle and an S.U.V. As Yearwood explained, the motorcycle driver perished in that collision, after he reportedly veered into the other lane and collided head on with an oncoming vehicle.

“Police responded to another traffic accident this time on the San Victor Road where upon arrival they saw a Tracker and a motorcycle that were involved in a collision. The driver of the motorcycle was learned to be Gilberto Tolico, fifty-two years old, and the driver of the vehicle, the black Chevy Tracker was driven by Robert Tech, forty-seven years. We know that it is believed by investigators so far that the motorcycle may have collided head on into the Tracker and the driver received severe head and body injuries and was pronounced dead on the spot. The body of Gilberto Tolico now awaits a post mortem at the Corozal Community Hospital. Robert Teck was detained by Corozal Police. We know that a Notice of Intended Prosecution was served on him. The investigators indicated that the motorbike is believed to have crossed into the lane of the Tracker.”
