Hit and run kills one
In other police news, a hit and run accident on the Northern Highway on Sunday night has claimed the life of a man. Thirty seven year old Elsworth Armstrong of Grace Bank Village was reportedly knocked down as he was walking on the road towards Maskall Village. When police visited the scene of the crime around ten thirty, they found Armstrong with head and body injuries in the middle of the road. Initial investigation reveals that the hit and run vehicle was travelling in a northerly direction. Armstrong’s body awaits a post mortem examination at the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital.
