17 year old arrested in shooting
A seventeen year old Belize City fisherman has been arrested and charged for the crimes of damage to property, aggravated assault and attempted murder. Deon Cadle of an Ebony Street address was arrested by police following a report made by twenty seven year old Stanley Herrera. Herrera told police that while he was driving a van on Lindo’s Alley, two men ran in front of the vehicle forcing him to stop. Cadle, it is reported, then rode in front of the van on a bicycle, pulled out a handgun and fired three shots damaging the windshield. Herrera escaped without injury.
