Car destroys wall in Belize City

Stories of traffic accidents are nothing new to this newscast, and while this one in Belize City was fairly benign causing no physical injuries, it was responsible for some heavily injured pride. According to witnesses, Maria Isabel Gallegos was reversing her car out of a driveway when she just kept backing up, not stopping until she destroyed a fence at number thirty five North Front Street. No charges have yet been brought against Gallegos and the police are continuing their investigation, as there are reports that a young man who narrowly escaped the car’s path retaliated by throwing a brick through the vehicle’s side window.
