Adrian Usher Perishes in Highway Collision

He was a football athlete with Georgeville FC, but on Saturday night, Adrian Usher also lost his life in a traffic accident on the George Price Highway in the area of Central Farm. Usher was riding his motorcycle when he collided head-on with a pickup truck, driven by William Swan. The incident occurred around seven-thirty p.m. and the impact from the collision flung Usher to the pavement and his death. Police say Swan has since been served with a notice of intended prosecution.

“Initial investigation revealed that William Swan driving his pickup truck in the direction of Esperanza towards Central Farm when he heard a loud bang and realised that a cycle crashed into the front portion of his vehicle. The driver of the cycle was flung onto the highway and upon impact sustained severe head and body injuries. He has since been identified as Adrian Usher, twenty-seven years. Mister Swan was also detained and served with a notice of intended prosecution.”
