Breaking News: Weed Gummies Update

In an update to our lead story involving the mass hospitalization of primary school students earlier today, News Five is reliably informed that there was a recent confiscation of similar cannabis edibles by the Anti-Narcotics Unit of the Belize Police Department.  That quantity of marijuana-laced treats was turned over to the exhibit keeper who, we are made to understand, subsequently informed that they were discarded in the garbage when they began to smell.  It is likely that the candies in question come from the same batch of discarded food items.  An investigation is being carried out by the Belize Police Department to determine this theory.
