Still No Motive for Murder of Armando Williams

While with ComPol Chester Williams, he was also asked for an update on the investigation into the murder of Armando Williams. The sixty-year-old Swallow Street resident, who also goes by the surname Meggs, was discovered on his bed with injuries to his face. Investigation continues into this homicide and ComPol Williams says that they are interviewing persons to determine a motive for the crime.

“Land, I don’t really think that’s the motive. But recently, he always have a group of guys that hang here, drug dealers – well he neva tell them come hang, but they just come. I am a soldier, Belize Defence Force, and I’ve had to chase them out of that yard many times. You are causing problems, bringing stuff and police come search and all kinda stuff like that dah this yard. But I really noh know what’s the motive behind all of this. Why that happen? Why it occur? It’s always why. I have no answer.”
