Accident kills man at shrimp farm
A traffic accident on private property off the Northern Highway Wednesday night has claimed the life of one man. Police reports say Cornelus Fehr was driving a tractor on Nova Shrimp Farm between miles twelve and thirteen around 7:00pm when he lost control of the vehicle and it overturned into a ditch. Fehr was trapped underneath the tractor and apparently crushed to death. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital an hour later.
