Four CARICOM nations to establish Caribbean Supreme Court
In other news from the Caribbean attorneys general for the region have moved a big step closer to establishing a Caribbean Supreme Court to replace the Privy Council. Meeting in Jamaica earlier this week, four countries: Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana have targeted July first as the date for establishing the high court. The plan will be presented at next month’s CARICOM Intercessional Summit in Greneda.
