Mike P Says Investigate Erwin Contreras
If the former Attorney General is saying that signing the Definitive Agreement is unlawful, then should an investigation be launched by the proper authorities? That’s what he was asked today during the interview. News Five asked if he believes that Erwin Contreras should be investigation. Here is his response.
Michael Peyrefitte, Former U.D.P. Attorney General
“The authorities, that name will look into that, but I think, yes. I think there should be some form of penalty. That is for the authorities to decide.”
Hipolito Novelo
“Do you believe that the Mister Contreras should be investigated to determine why is it that…”
Michael Peyrefitte
“I think no stone should be left unturned as to uncover why this happened the way it happened.”
Hipolito Novelo
“The former minister should be investigated.”
Michael Peyrefitte
“No stone should be left unturned to find out what’s happened. Investigate Irwin Contreras. Investigate Portico. Don’t leave them out. And investigate Royal Caribbean International because a publicly traded company. Should know that before they enter into an MOU with Portico, they need to know that whatever agreement Portugal may have with the government is a legitimate agreement. And clearly they did not make sure that they did that. Clearly, if you’re saying that they have been meeting with the Prime Minister from 2015, then why, when it was time to sign this definitive agreement, they didn’t go to him?”
