Woman Shot in Leg at Basketball Court in Belize City
On Friday night shots rang out at the basketball court behind the Charles Bartlett Hyde building in Belize City. When the gunfire subsided, Rosalind Ranguy had been shot to the foot. She was rushed to the K.H.M.H. where she is in a stable condition. Police say that two teenagers, one of whom is a minor, have been detained following the shooting. Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero shared the details, saying that while Ranguy is not believed to have been the intended target, the shooting is gang-related.
