Suspect charged in robbery at Discovery Expeditions
Twenty year old Jerome Wade, the second of three persons who the police believe robbed six employees of Discovery Expeditions last Friday, was charged with six counts of Robbery when he appeared today in Magistrates’ Court. Wade pleaded not guilty to the charges. Magistrate Dorothy Flowers explained to him that the court cannot offer him bail because the offences were committed with a firearm and remanded him into custody until March seventeenth. On February third, Jason Gentle was also charged for the Robbery. On January thirtieth, Shermadine Rowland, an employee of Discovery Expeditions, opened the door to a man who had done business at their office before. Two masked men followed him inside and one of them pulled out a chrome gun and demanded money. The men robbed the employees of cash, jewelry and cell phones valued at ten thousand dollars. The robbers then bound them with duct tape before leaving.
