No suspects caught in killing of O.W. businessman
Police in Orange Walk have had less luck in finding the persons responsible for the brutal slaying of forty eight year old Indian businessman Bherumal Punjabi. Punjabi was strangled and robbed Wednesday evening on the San Roman Road, his throat pierced by a stalk of cane. Officers told News Five that while they are looking for two suspects who were described by a witness to the murder, the men have not yet been identified, let alone apprehended. In a showing of sympathy and protest against the killing, Indian business houses in Belize City closed their doors this morning.
