Media Personality, William Neal, Loses Belongings in House Fire

A fire has destroyed all the contents of a house in the Vista del Mar area. The fire was reported on Sunday at a residence occupied by William Neal, the Communications Director at Belize Sugar Industries Limited. Neal, who is also a well-known media personality, had reportedly left his house and a neighbor called to notify him that the building was on fire. A.C.P Hilberto Romero says that the cause of the blaze is under investigation.

“On Sunday, the 18th of June, 2023, police responded to a fire at Vista del Mar. Upon the arrival, the building was seen engulfed in flames. Thereafter, police received a report from William Neal who reported that his neighbor called him and informed that his house was on fire. He then went to his residence where he saw the building engulfed in flames. All the contents in the building were destroyed. We are awaiting the Fire Department’s report to determine if they can see what was the cause of that fire. Mr. Neal reported that he left his house and he was called by the neighbor. That is all information there is.”
