Orange Walk Man Shot Dead Near His House
A man from Orange Walk was shot dead on Saturday night in that town. The victim, twenty-five-year-old Roberto Aragon lived less than a hundred yards away, through an alley. The incident happened in the wee hours of Sunday and no one was around when it happened. However, police are checking whether any surveillance camera in the area might have picked up the incident. Aragon, who lived with his mother through a nearby alley, did not have a police record. News Five’s Marion Ali reports.

While no one may have witnessed the incident, a resident told News Five that a volley of gunshots woke her up. When they went outside to check, it was her neighbor who lived with his mother through the alley. When we arrived at the small wooden house today, it was locked. Neighbors say they haven’t seen her since her son’s murder. A.C.P Hilberto Romero, the Regional Commander for Eastern Division, said that police are scouting the area for whatever evidence they can gather.
