Linsford Baldwin Gets 3 Years for Firearm Offense
While the issue of gun licenses remains a topic of conversation, earlier today in the lower courts, Ebony Street resident Linsford Baldwin has been sentenced to three years in prison for a firearm offense. Earlier today, he was found guilty of kept firearm without a gun license. Baldwin was initially charged with kept firearm and kept ammunition, along with possession of controlled drugs for twenty grams of cannabis. Despite being found not guilty of the other two firearm-related charges, the first time offender was sentenced by the Chief Magistrate to a three-year prison term. Baldwin was busted in March 2019 in possession of a firearm during a police operation near the intersection of Ebony Street and Magazine Road.
