UDP responds to PUP charges
The United Democratic Party today issued a press release responding to charges made yesterday by Leader of the Opposition Said Musa. The accusations of conflict of interest against U.D.P. standard bearers Denton Belisle and John Saldivar were described as cheap political posturing. The release, however, did not address the question of alleged constitutional prohibitions on the two officials’ political work. Instead it pointed to instances of conflict of interest which allegedly took place during the P.U.P.’S term in office.
