Fatal traffic accident on the Northern Highway
In other traffic news a Honduran man has died after being knocked down by a car on the Northern Highway. 58-year-old Domingo Abrego of Tower Hill Village was crossing the highway between miles 51 and 52 on Sunday evening when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Alfred Dominguez of West Landivar in Belize City. Abrego suffered head and body injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at Orange Walk Hospital. Dominguez has been charged with manslaughter by negligence, causing death by careless conduct and driving without due care and attention.
