Armed Men Make off With Cash and Hilux
A group of armed men entered a home in Cristo Rey village this morning and stole a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash. The men also made off with a Toyota Hilux. This afternoon, Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero told reporters that police were still on the scene and that the vehicle is yet to be located.

“Sometime around eleven a.m. San Ignacio Police received a report of an aggravated burglary in Cristo Rey Village. They proceeded to the area where initial information is that stolen from a house by some male persons armed with firearms was one Hilux vehicle along with a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash and firearm. That is all the details we have at this time as investigators are still processing the scene.”
