Steven Moss Gunned Down in Belize City
Four Belize City residents have been murdered in the last nine days. The latest victim to lose his life is twenty-nine-year-old Steven Moss, a resident of Queen Charlotte Street. If the name sounds familiar that is because Moss was charged in connection with a murder in 2017, in front of what is now Club Bizzo. But, only two days after the murder trial began in 2020 the case was dismissed and Moss was once again a free man. This afternoon, he was the target of a gunman inside a vehicle. Moss was only two houses away from where he lived when he was shot and killed this afternoon. News Five’s Paul Lopez arrived on the scene shortly after. He filed the following report.

Twenty-nine-year-old, Steven Moss, a resident of Queen Charlotte Street, lay lifeless on the side of the street across from Club Bizzo. Moss was on a bicycle heading home with an order of panades that he purchased from a nearby vendor when a vehicle approached him. Reports are that his killer opened fire in his direction from inside the vehicle and then fled the scene. Moss was killed only a stone’s throw away from his home.

Moss is known to the law. He was charged for the October 2017 murder of Delbert Daniel Anderson. His trial began on July sixth 2020. Two days later, the case was dismissed and Moss was set free. Ironically, Moss was gunned down in front the same club that Anderson met his demise.
